FLASH Rocketry : September 1, 2007 Launch

Some great flights this month including: a short & fat rocket drag race, a successful Level 1 certification, and the incredible folding rocket.

The Incredible Folding Rocket. The Purple J on a J135. Part way through the flight the airframe gave way. Just proof that not every flight goes as planned. [Video]

Tim Walker's first reload flight in some time. This was a neat flight on a F52. [Video]

Bob Backlinie's minimum diameter Transonic on a Ellis Mountain H50. Flew to an altitude of over 4500 ft! [Video]

Dan Barret flew his F-52 on a H210 Redline. This thing really screamed off the pad! [Video]

Level 1 Certification. Jimmy La Fountain flew his rocket on a H123. Beautiful flight and successful, no damage recovery. Success. Congratulations, Jimmy!! [Video]

A another fabulous day flying! Come out and join us for the excitement of rocketry! We'll be back next month when, hopefully, the temperatures are a bit cooler.
