FLASH Rocketry Launch Site Map & Directions
Below is an aerial map of our launch site. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it? Directions are located at the bottom of the page.
Driving directions :
From Ft. Myers follow State Road 80 (Palm Beach Blvd) east towards LaBelle. You will pass a pair of flashing lights at Alva, and cross the county line shortly thereafter. The first traffic light (as of 6/2004) you come to after entering Hendry county is Cowboy Way. Turn right and follow it alllllllllllll the way out until you reach the middle school. We set up right across from the school.
From West Palm and viscinity :
The map above is accurate from that direction. I do not know the landmarks from that direction, but you can always contact me for more specific directions. Or of course you can always drive all the way to Ft. Myers then turn around and follow those directions.
From the center of the state :
Probably the best thing to do it get a machette and head straight south. If you hit trees and underbrush, use the machette.
